Our school creates regular opportunities for our pupils to share their views with each other and the school staff.  Ways in which our pupils are encouraged to use their voice include:

• School Committees including Active Schools Committee, Health Promoting Schools Committee, Green Schools Committee;
• Pupil surveys and questionnaires;
• Peer-learning and buddy system opportunities;
• In-class debating;
• School celebrations including Active Schools Week and Friendship Week.

Students also bring about change within the school by expressing their views on certain matters to the Staff by using persuasive writing techniques and creating petitions.

Pupils who engage with the Special Education Teachers are encouraged to become involved in their own learning plans by expressing their likes, dislikes, interests, strengths and challenges.
